Poppy Challenge Blog Hop

It is time for the Poppy Challenge Reveal Blog Hop!  I am excited! I love working with the Poppy headpin.

I had an idea for a bracelet when I first received the headpins, however that did not work out. But then I had no idea what to do for about a week, will admit to mild panic for a couple days.  However, I got busy at work and forgot about it for a day or two.  Does this happen to anyone else with deadlines?

Here is what I wrapped up...

The vine circles are from Hobby Lobby, and the heart's are a gorgeous Cat's Eye Blue.  I could not get that part to photograph.  And now for a day off to wear them!

My Neice - E

So my youngest niece and I had a conversation that went something like this:

E:  You know the green necklace you made me?
Me:  Not off the top of my head, why?
E:  I love it
Me:  That is wonderful, are you wanting another like it?
E:  Yes, 2 for my friends because they love my necklace also.
Me:  Well, next time you come over bring it, and we will see what I can do.

So I spend time trying to figure out the 'green necklace' that I made her was.  Now she is only 7 years old, so I wasn't too worried about it.  However, she keep bugging me about this green necklace.  I start going through pictures, cause I have taken pictures of everything I have made.  Finally find the pictures of this necklace, after multiple phone calls to niece & sister to confirm, in my to-be-sorted file.  {I have since sorted this file at least} 

I hope I have gotten a little better at pictures than this!

I have made her 3 different necklaces to choose from for her friends, in different colors as I seem to not be able to grab to many of any one item.  

Think these will pass her approval?  We shall see...

My sister's earrings part 2

So I got my Sister's birthday earrings for pictures.

The crystal is really a light purple, but was hard to photograph.

So it is Bead Table Wednesday.  I am working on my Poppy Challenge!  So far I love it, just to finish.  But no pictures of that for you yet.

Sister's Birthday

So my sister's Birthday is tomorrow.  I made her a pair of earrings, which I do not have pictures of as my hubby gave them to her while I was at work.  So I am working on getting pictures of the earrings, but I am also making me a similar pair as they were gorgeous!

New

So I didn't get as much creative play time over the weekend as I had wanted.  I did (sort of) get my desk clean cleaner.

And I got a pair of earring made, for B's friend's birthday.

Plus a bracelet, that I am not sure of how comfortable it is.  So the daughter(B) opted to wear it for me today, to test it how.  I love how it looks, just not sure of it wears/fits? So I guess it is a good thing I have a live in jewelry tester.  

I do have a couple tile pendents in the works, that I should have ready to show you tomorrow or Thursday.  Just waiting on the Dimensional Magic to dry.

Daughter of mine

Now that we have gutted  cleaned her room.  I can brag about her hobby.  

Sometimes she makes cards. 

 Sometimes she plays the clarinet.
