Missing in Action part 2

Sorry, I seem to have gone missing in action again! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.  There have been lots of things/changes going on at my house.  After new year's is my daughter's b-day!

I have been busy, though not on designing or playing with beads. My New Year's resolution this year has been to get a organized inventory system that I can/will use. I am happy to say that I am about halfway though that! Did you make a new year's resolution?

I do have some new earring to share, plus I participated in a couple swaps with other beading friends! As though swaps get delivered, I will share.

OK, have are a few pairs of earrings, since that is what you are here to see, and not my rambling!

This first pair is Blue Hearts with a red crystal.

This second pair, I was playing around with.  Love the multi-colors in a frame look more than I thought I would!

 The third pair is a set of Blown Glass Beads with a couple accent crystals for accents.

So what do you think?

I will leave this as all for now.  I am going to try to post a little more regularly.  However, I will also note that for some reason we are having internet issues, so post may still be slow until Hubby gets that fixed!

New Stuff

Here is what I have been up to this week...

We had our first band concert.  Doesn't she look so happy that I had the camera?? Of course, in her defense, this is probably about the 100 picture taken before the concert.  Isn't that a nice picture? It is from my new camera,in a school gym, and across the room.  I know could have been better, but my other camera couldn't do this :).

In other news, will have some beading stuffs to post tomorrow.  Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Earrings

I had a busy Morning on Friday.  First I attempted to sleep in, just wasn't working.  So then I sat down, and made a couple pairs of earrings. I have some of them in groups so there are not so many pictures posted.  I am working on getting a "page" up on the blog to showcase different items I have made. I currently have bookmarks and cell charms.  Will add more soon.  All of these were taken with my new camera! Off to play with making some key chains.

Time

I am so sorry to have been so quiet for the last month!! I just seem to be out of time lately.  I have started working at Target for holiday money, so that is what is eating most of it up.

I do have or hope to have some new pictures for you on Friday! I participated in a Kris Kringle Bead Swap, and I have a lovely gift that I received today, plus I sent one that I hope my "mark" likes as well as I liked mine! This was My first swap of any kind, so really nervous!

Couple new items to point out.  One, I added a button on the left for a group called BD Friends.  These really talented ladies all have shops on a site called Shop Homemade with their wonderful wares.  Please go visit them! Two, If you are not following Lyric's blog, she is home and the surgery went well! Thank you for your prayers!

Well, I have more but it will have to wait.

Earrings

Lyric

Lyric Nichols is 4 months old, she is the daughter of my good Friend Travis.

Lyric will be having open heart surgery in the next 2 weeks. Travis's Insurance is paying for most of the medical bills, but not all of them. Lyric's aunt explained to me that she will need two shots after surgery that are not covered under the insurance, and they are $900 each, and I am sure more charges like that will be piled on them.

There are a couple of fund raisers already underway here, but I am not sure how much money they can raise by selling cupcakes.

I know it is close to Christmas. I will be adding have added a Paypal button in the next day or two. ALL Donations go straight to Lyric's medical bills.

Even if you can not send any money, please keep her and her family in your prayers.
